This was my least favorite GLT trip so far. The girls were all amazing but the hotel was not great and several things did not work out as intended. Haley did a great job keeping us informed and trying to make up for the problems. Some problems were as follows: The shared room we had was clearly a single room that had been converted to a room for two people. It was too small and did not offer enough space for two people and their luggage. I had to ask for an extra table instead of keeping my stuff on the floor. The bathroom was very small and the shower was GROSS. The shower was tiny and the drain did not drain. Staff did try to fix it and pulled gobs of hair out of our drain but that did not fix the issue. The food at the hotel was mediocre which was too bad after the excellent food we ate in Belize. The excursions were just okay. I would have liked more shopping, but we went on a day where many things were closed due to the cruise ships not being in port. The bus we took on the food tour was uncomfortable and the ride was unintentionally very, very long. There was a lot of down time on this trip. I would have liked more planned activities. The snorkeling was pretty cool but Belize was better in just about every way. The group was very big (22 of us) and with this being such a short trip, I wanted more time to talk with everyone. It seemed like some girls who knew each other from other trips did not want to mix with others so they kept to themselves which was a little disappointing. I think it would have been nice to have a group tour of the hotel property and a group activity to get us all interacting from day one. The beach was nice and staff were polite. I liked that there were stores near the hotel so we could get some fresh food and other items. I felt safe on the property and traveling around. The goodbye dinner we had at Arch was absolutely beautiful and delicious - I wish we had been able to stay at that hotel. Overall, the prices on Roatan surprised me. Roatan is not nearly as developed in terms of tourism as other places. Despite not being as sophisticated in the tourist industry, they charge top tier tourism prices. I expected more and was left wanting. I'm glad to know GLT trips in the past have been much better than this one.

I had a great trip with amazing women. The hotel was very comfortable with really good staff, beautiful pool and a generous breakfast buffet. Details of our activities were curated very thoughtfully... just a couple vendor kinks need to be worked out, but it didn't effect my overall feeling that the overall trip was wonderful! Thank you fellow travelers and Hayley ... you made Roatan magical. Cindy Dildine

This trip to Cairo was phenomenal! It far exceeded my expectations. Our guide, Yasser, was responsible for a beautiful experience in showing us his beautiful country of Egypt. His years of experience, along with being an Egyptologist, created the perfect combination for a wonderful experience. He took such great care of our small group of 5 and did everything possible to accommodate any needs that we had. We had a wonderful mix of history, culinary delights and experiences of a camel ride, quad bikes on the Sahara, dinner cruise on the Nile and a sailboat sunset cruise. Everything was perfect with this trip!

This was an incredible experience beginning to end!! Yasser schooled us on Egyptology, current lifestyle & crazy traffic!! I enjoyed the camel ride, quad driving, the Nile dinner cruise (belly dancers wow!!!), sunset sailing, Alexandria Library, Pyramids, Grand Egyptian Museum & the Food!!! The resort could not have been better & staff were friendly & went out of their way to help!! Highly recommend this tour!!!!

I had such a great time! I really enjoyed the itinerary provided and learned so many new things in fun ways. Our guide was warm, friendly, and so knowledgeable. The food was delicious and our guide knew all the best places to eat and set everything up for us so our days ran seamlessly. My favorite part of the trip was the quad bikes by the pyramids. I wasn’t sure about the camels because I didn’t realize they are tall like moose’s, but I did feel safe and don’t regret riding one. I would highly suggest this trip of a lifetime ❤️

I really had no idea what I was in store for when I booked this trip. Egypt is on most of our “bucket lists,” so expectations were high. Before leaving, GLT makes everything seamless. Booking is easy, communication lines are open and responses are prompt. I also found the Facebook Group to be particularly helpful with the expertise of people who have either traveled to Egypt or have gone on GLT trips. The itinerary is thoughtfully curated to allow time for rest if you want (you won’t want, trust me!) or you can choose to go on other excursions. As soon as you land you’re met by an agent who guides you through customs and gets you in transportation to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel it was close to 2a. Enter Yasser, our guide. He welcomed us with his warm smile even though it was early morning. We were impressed. I remember getting the feeling we were in good hands, but that was only the beginning. From day one you could tell Yasser was full of knowledge. He answered every question with love and passion. We were mesmerized by the stories he told us and we quickly became family. Everywhere we went Yasser knew someone. After a quick hello and a hug, Yasser’s friends would be on their way, but not before yelling things like, “you have the best guide” and “that’s my teacher. You’re very lucky!” As I write this, I can’t help but to smile. Yasser made this trip memorable. I felt extremely safe and loved the opportunity to meet new people and socialize. If you’re on the fence and thinking about going on this trip, don’t think! You’ll leave in awe of this magical country and you’ll leave with a new extended family member with the name of Yasser. You won’t be sorry.
