This trip was everything I dreamed of: pyramids, mosques, koshary, camels, ancient history, and great company. The trip was perfectly planned with a well thought out itinerary, which included the brand new GEM museum. The hotel was great with a delightful breakfast. The tour guide Yasser and transport with Abdul were wonderful. I felt safe the entire trip. GLT and WanderLuxe exceeded expectations.

I absolutely LOVED this trip! Everything was taken care of from food, airport transfers, hotel accommodations, excursions, and our tour guide. The women I met on this trip were phenomenal! I highly recommend our tour guide Yasser, shuttle driver Abdul, and our security officer Mohammed #1. Yasser was amazing and very knowledgeable in the history of Egypt. Yasser went above and beyond for us during this trip and made sure we did not have any issues. Yasser took me to the pharmacy after telling him I was ill which he did not have to do but I greatly appreciated it. Yasser introduced the group to some hidden gems in Cairo and Alexandria then opened his home and family to us which was really special for us. I loved this trip and group so much I look forward to going on another trip with them and GLT in the future! I will highly recommend GLT to everyone who wants to go!

This was a bucket list trip for me. I have always wanted to visit Oaxaca and recently over the last 7 yrs been interested in also experiencing the celebrations for Day of the Dead. Oaxaca was an amazing vibrant city. The decorations for the celebration was amazing. Definitely recommend this trip if you want to experience the Day of the Dead or Oaxaca.

If you are thinking of booking a trip. Do it! I had an amazing time in Oaxaca and met some amazing people and my new travel familia. I cried when I had to leave. Go for it and you will love it!

I really had no idea what I was in store for when I booked this trip. Egypt is on most of our “bucket lists,” so expectations were high. Before leaving, GLT makes everything seamless. Booking is easy, communication lines are open and responses are prompt. I also found the Facebook Group to be particularly helpful with the expertise of people who have either traveled to Egypt or have gone on GLT trips. The itinerary is thoughtfully curated to allow time for rest if you want (you won’t want, trust me!) or you can choose to go on other excursions. As soon as you land you’re met by an agent who guides you through customs and gets you in transportation to the hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel it was close to 2a. Enter Yasser, our guide. He welcomed us with his warm smile even though it was early morning. We were impressed. I remember getting the feeling we were in good hands, but that was only the beginning. From day one you could tell Yasser was full of knowledge. He answered every question with love and passion. We were mesmerized by the stories he told us and we quickly became family. Everywhere we went Yasser knew someone. After a quick hello and a hug, Yasser’s friends would be on their way, but not before yelling things like, “you have the best guide” and “that’s my teacher. You’re very lucky!” As I write this, I can’t help but to smile. Yasser made this trip memorable.
I felt extremely safe and loved the opportunity to meet new people and socialize. If you’re on the fence and thinking about going on this trip, don’t think! You’ll leave in awe of this magical country and you’ll leave with a new extended family member with the name of Yasser. You won’t be sorry.
