This trip will capture the beauty and charm of both countries, while delving a little deeper than other tours in the region. You'll spend 4 days exploring Cambodia before you head over and explore Thailand for 8 more days. It will be an epic trip you wont forget! 

As much as we want for this trip to go exactly as planned, we can not plan for complications that arise especially due to inclement weather or closures due to extenuating circumstances like Covid-19.  

To ensure the safety of everyone on the trip, we are requiring that ALL attendees  provide a negative covid test prior to the trip.  You can email it to glttrips.covid@gmail.com. 

Your spot will be secured when we receive a deposit of $600.  Upon receipt, the deposit paid is nonrefundable and non-transferable.

Below are the payment schedules:

Trip dates: April 2-13

The remaining balance is due 75 days before the trip- January 17, 2023.

In the event that you need to cancel your trip, these fees will be applied:  

  • Between Now-January 16, GLT retains only nonrefundable deposit ($600) 

  • Between January 17- February 1, GLT retains 50% of the tour price 

 • Between February 2 and departure date (April 2), GLT retains 100% of the entire tour price 

This trip starts in Siem Reap, Cambodia and finishes in Phuket, Thailand. We recommend taking round trip flights (Bangkok is usually a good start) and taking regional carriers to where you need to go.

Arrival: 

Arrive in Siem Reap, Cambodia before 2pm so you can have time to transfer to the hotel, check in, and get ready for the welcome dinner that evening.

Departure: 

Depart from Phuket, Thailand anytime on the last day. We recommend leaving after 12pm so you can have breakfast and transfer back to the airport to fly home.

Welcome to the heart of Southeast Asia, Cambodia. Our private transfers

will await you at the airport and whisk you to our charming boutique hotel

in the old city of Siem Reap.

This evening we'll have our first group dinner with delicious local food as

we get to know each other before adventuring through Cambodia.

And for those not suffering from too much jet lag, cocktails at Cambodia's

newest rooftop bar await.

Today you'll learn why Battambang is quietly being dubbed Cambodia's

answer to Chiang Mai. Charming streets, a burgeoning coffee culture and

hip bars. 

First though, we're off on the (somewhat infamous!) bamboo

train. A human-power train through the back waters of the Battambang

country side. Hold on tight!

This evening, we'll witness one of our planet's largest nightly bat

migrations. The sky almost turns black as 10s of 1000s of bats cover the

sky.

For many, today is not just a highlight from our Ancient Cambodia trip, but

one of the highlights of any trip, anywhere!

We have chartered our own traditional Khymer wooden boat. All aboard as

we make our way north to Siem Reap. An all-day adventure on our scenic

journey. We'll follow the small rivers and shallow waters as boat thread

their ways through numerous charming floating villages and past dozens of

towering cantilevered fishing net installations.

Feel free to bring snacks, or even a bottle of wine or 2. Perch yourself on

the roof of the boat and watch true Cambodian life unwind around you.

We will arrive in Siem Reap just in time for sunset!

Today we are seeing the icon of South East Asia, Angkor Wat temple complex. We'll be spending the whole day on a private, guided tour of this amazing place.

We'll start with sunrise over the 3 pronged 'Angkor Wat' temple itself. A

truly spectacular sight, and one that no trip to Asia is truly complete

without. 

We'll move on to the giant Buddha faces in the Bayon temple, to

the Ta Prohm temples that Lara Croft made even more famous 20+ years

ago. Huge trees and their massive roots breaking through thousands of

years of history. It's a photographer's dream throughout the entire

complex.

Learning about the history of each temple, and the level of sophistication

of this beautiful ancient culture is a treat, as each new structure unfolds in

front you.

That night, we'll celebrate our last evening together ladies. Siem Reap is

home to 'Pub Street', which for better or worse, is something akin to

Bangkok's Khao San Road. Expect lots of street food, drinks, treats (we recommend rolled ice cream) and good times!

We're heading to the beach- in Thailand!

Our 1 hour morning flight will take us to the beachside town of Krabi. Karst landscapes, epic cliffs, and electric blue waters. 

You have the afternoon to hit the ocean, or the pool, sample a Thai

massage or fill yourself up with mango smoothies before we have a group

dinner together on the water.

Get those cameras ready, today is what Thailand is all about!

Those iconic wooden long tail boats in every postcard you've seen? We've

chartered a couple and we're off to explore some untouched beaches,

snorkeling hotspots filled with wildlife and a delicious local lunch.

Sunscreen at the ready, this is Thailand at its delightful best.

Time to escape the crowds and visit the untouched beauty of Thailand.

We're driving north to the jungle reserve of the Khao Sok National Park

and it is something truly special.

The largest area of virgin forest in all of Thailand, and more diverse than

the Amazon! Beautiful sandstone rocks rise from the lakes, its really a sight to see!

Your afternoon can be spent swinging in your hammock and taking a dip

in the refreshing water just a stone's throw from your bed. 

This evening enjoy the sounds of the rainforest. The real world will feel like a world

away.

Wake up deep in the jungles of the real Thailand. Breakfast overlooking the

karst cliffs. 

Today, you can either let the stressed of modern life disappear

as you kick back in your bungalow or you can join us on a leisurely hike to a

local waterfall, followed by some paddle boarding or kayaking.

Time to leave the jungle behind and back to the beach. Phuket is calling.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we road trip to Thailand's most famous

island. We'll settle into our luxury hotel in time for lunch and a dip in the

pool

Treat yourself to a spa session for as little as $5 per massage (yes, really!), or

sip Pina Colada's by the pool. Explore Phuket's famous Patong streets, the

local markets and sample the snacks on every street corner.

This evening we'll have a group dinner in Phuket's best thai restaurant.

Today it's time to properly enjoy one of the top islands on the planet. But

first we have a special private workshop planned as a GLT-exclusive. 

In the afternoon it's some me (or we) time. We could fill a book with all the things

there are to do in Phuket but some sand, sun and shopping are a good

place to start. 

In the evening we can get freshened up and venture to one of Thailand's more posh beach clubs for a night of beats and bubbles.

Time for some last minute shopping, paddle boarding, yoga or massage

this morning. 

In the afternoon, we're heading out on our private luxury catamaran for a farewell cruise. Snorkeling, sunbathing and as many drinks as you'd like.

It was all a dream! After indulging on luxury, massages, cocktails, jungle,

and beaches it's time to head home. Tears are allowed, the real world

beckons!

We will help out with transfers back to Phuket airport to head home. If you need help with extra night stays, let us know as well!
